Beautiful Victorian era gutta percha double locket with a very unusual design. To reveal the photos, gently lift the bottom where the catch is, and then rotate left or right.
Two spaces for photographs, one with what appears to be an original image of a man, behind glass.
The locket itself is stunning, with a floral cross motif, one that I have not seen before, and much more unusual than the typical oval shape I usually see.
On the top is a bale, through which you can attach a chain. Listing is for the locket only.
Chain and box not included, for display purposes only.

+++ Condition +++
Lovely condition overall with minor age-related wear and patina. The photograph inside the locket is quite worn. The frames and glass are intact but show some age.
