I am so excited to announce the arrival of the second Witchy Vintage original, the Morrigan Corset Belt.
Inspired by a beaded belt circa 1900s (which you can still find in my shop archive!), as well as Swiss waists from the 19th century, the Morrigan Corset Belt is fashioned in 100% cotton canvas and structured with spiral steel boning in the front and back. Finished with matte black grommets. A cotton twill tie with gunmetal aglets is included.
It can be worn in different ways, with lacing in front or back, with the double points facing up or down, however you choose.
The name Morrigan comes from "The Morrigan," a Celtic goddess associated with fate, the cycle of life and death, and shapeshifting. She is often seen on the battlefield and is able to shift into the form of a crow or raven.
This project has gone through multiple life-death cycles over the last few years, and at times it certainly has felt like a battle. But here she is. We've both done some shapeshifting to get to this point!

+++ Size Chart +++
Belt measures 9" total height from tip to tip on the three-pointed side. It measures 6" total height on the lacing side. It is 2" wide at the thinnest part of the waist sides.
Please let me know if you have any sizing questions!
Remember the belt can be worn at your waist size or cinched a bit more snugly for a corseted fit, to your preference. It is best to plan for at least a 1" gap between the laces.
NOTE: for short waisted people like me with fuller figures, when worn with the two points in front facing up, the points at the top will most likely curve with your body and will not remain totally vertical like they are on the dress form.
