Beautiful Scottish agate brooch and pendant circa mid-19th century featuring lovely colored jasper, carnelian, banded agate, and bloodstones in earthy shades of green, ochre, white, and red.

During the Victorian era, Scottish agate jewelry became extremely popular due to Queen Victoria's love of all things Scottish. I am also quite drawn to these pieces :)

Engraved on the back with the initials A.C.

Unmarked but tests as sterling silver.

Listing is for the brooch/pendant only. Box and chain are not included in this listing.

Lovely condition overall with minor age-related wear and patina. The pin has a tiny bend in it right at the tip. C-clasp is an early replacement.
