This gorgeous Victorian era gold filled snake bracelet dates from around the middle mid-19th century, circa 1850s-1870s.
She has little ruby paste eyes and a very detailed, adorable face with open mouth. The bracelet has two hinges for easily putting it on and taking it off. It is a hollow tube with gold filled exterior.
It's so difficult to find these Victorian snake bracelets, and every single one I've seen lately has been solid gold (and of course quite expensive!). This is a nice find at a much lower price point!
+++ Measurements +++
Approx 6.25" inner circumference when fully closed, but it opens up and can accommodate a slightly larger wrist.
+++ Condition +++
Good condition overall with some wear from age. The gold fill has worn quite a bit in some places, but remains intact on the face. Overall presents beautifully!
