Super cool purple studded jacket circa late 1910s. It has collar stays to make the collar stand up in the back and rows of studs on the front, the back, collar, and cuffs.
It is a wool / blend with a silk lining and silk brocade front panel. The front panel snaps in place on the inside of the jacket and a hidden belt also closes with a single snap.
There are two small pockets, one on each side of the lower part of the front of the jacket.
It has a really fun printed silk lining (which is sadly shredded, but I am glad it's still there to enjoy).
I love that there is a tag present! The maker is "The Charlotte" in Decatur, Illinois. I have included a few clippings dating from between 1910 and 1920.

+++ Condition +++
Condition overall is fair. The jacket itself is quite good but the silk lining is torn to shreds. I think that makes this a wonderful study piece for recreation!
The color of the wool has faded some.
There are a few small moth holes in the wool parts of the jacket, as shown. It missing one of the studs on one of the cuffs, but the rest seem to be present.
