Incredibly beautiful Georgian black dot paste ring circa early 19th century. Black dot paste is a type of glass stone meant to resemble diamonds with a black dot painted in the setting.
Paste stones were very popular in the Georgian era and into the Victorian era as well.
This ring features five lovely black dot paste stones in silver colette settings on a 9k gold band (unmarked but tested).
Box is for display purposes and is not included in the listing.
