If you know me, you know I'm a huge fan of agates, and this brooch really stole my heart. It's a beautiful swirl of autumnal colors, rich browns that lighten to golden hues. It's difficult to capture in photos.
The collet setting is a low karat gold, testing around 8-9k.
This piece dates from the early 19th century, circa 1800-1830.
