Beautiful grey silk slippers circa early 19th century with silk ties.
Lined with a glazed cotton in the back half and a rougher cotton or linen in the front half. Insole is white leather. Trimmed with black silk.
These are a bit larger than I typically find! They are labeled inside with pen lettering but I cannot make it out--liking some type of sizing indication.
Hand stitched.

Good condition overall for their age with some fading and wear/small holes to the silk. Each shoe only has one of the black silk ties remaining. Shoes are intact and beautiful for display.
