Wonderful tall brown lace up boots circa 1940s. These were likely work boots. The leather is quite thick and sturdy.

Leather soles and rubber heels.

Oddly, there is an extra eyelet on one side of one of the boots, likely a manufacturing defect.

Someone has added their own laces to these, which could be left as is (I think they look great!) or replaced with leather ones, or your choice of laces.

+++ Measurements +++

Sizing on boots is always approximate, and I urge you to take careful measurements and ask any questions prior to purchasing.

Marked as a size 6 (likely a men's size), but believe these are an approximate size 7.5-8 US women's (I wear a true 7.5 they fit me), but please check the following measurements.

10 1/4" inner sole length

3 3/8" width measured across the bottom of the sole at the ball of the foot, and 10 1/4" circumference at the same spot measured from the outside

1 3/4" heel

15" total height

+++ Condition +++

Good condition with minor wear commensurate with age. The leather around the top of the boots is a bit dry and has some wear. The rest of the leather is flexible and not dried out.

There are some tiny holes in the sole that do not go all the way through. The way they are spaced out makes me think there may have been some sort of spikes attached at some point? But I'm not certain.

These are wearable with care, but do keep in mind they are antiques. I highly suggest finding a good cobbler. It is usually quite affordable to have repairs done.

These boots were made to last a lifetime, and with the proper care and repairs when needed, they will!
