Fabulous black leather boots circa 1910s from my personal collection! These look like they were likely a men's shoe.
New waxed cotton laces have been added.
+++ Measurements +++
Sizing on boots is always approximate, and I urge you to take careful measurements and ask any questions prior to purchasing.
I believe these are an approximate size 7.5-8 US women's (I wear a 7.5 and they fit with some extra space), but please check the following measurements.
10 1/4" inner sole length
3 1/8" width measured across the bottom of the sole at the ball of the foot, and 9" circumference at the same spot measured from the outside
1 1/2" heel
9" total height
+++ Condition +++
Good condition overall with some minor wear.
Leather is super soft and supple. Some scuffs and minor wear around the ankles, heels, toes.
Soles are slightly worn. New rubber heel caps have been added. The leather around the inner ankles and inside around the lacing holes has been replaced with new leather. Some wear to the canvas lining and insole.
These are wearable with care, but do keep in mind they are antiques. I highly suggest finding a good cobbler. It is usually quite affordable to have repairs done.
These boots were made to last a lifetime, and with the proper care and repairs when needed, they will!
