Beautiful dark blue tinted glasses circa turn of the century, 1890s to 1900s, with flexible gold tone frames. Lenses are not prescription or magnifying, just tinted.
Before the days of sunglasses, there were tinted glasses, believed by some to improve vision, but also worn for the sake of fashion by others. Some were worn as eye protection from the elements.

Approximately 4.75" across the front. They are pretty flexible to fit a range of sizes.

Great condition with some minor patina and wear.
The lenses are in good condition with minor wear and one noticeable scratch on one of the lenses. However, this did not seem to appear in my vision when wearing the glasses.
These are wearable with care at your own risk (the lenses are antique and made of glass, and therefore do not meet modern safety regulations).
