Incredible silk bodice circa 1850s to 1860s with wide pagoda sleeves, trimmed with fringe.
Bodice and sleeves lined with polished cotton. Hook and eye closures down the center front.

Good condition overall considering age. Small holes/splits underarms. A couple of small seam separations. Faint underarm discoloration in the lining. Little fabric tab in the lining is broken and frayed. A few bits of loose fringe here and there. Minor wear to the silk.
Beautiful for study or display. Not recommended for wearing due to age.
