Scarce gunmetal long guard chain circa late 19th to early 20th century with decorative gunmetal spherical beads.
These long guard chains, also sometimes called muff chains, are so versatile! They were usually worn by ladies and could be attached to a pocket watch, tucked into waistbands, or used to hold chatelaine accessories.
They can be worn in so many different ways and are perfect for attaching lockets, charms, fobs, pendants, etc. of your choice!
Metal content is a blackened steel.
