Beautiful black suede lace up oxfords in the original box! They are "Rim-i-kins" by Treadeasy.
I originally thought they dated from the late 1940s but after some digging in the archives, I was able to find newspaper ads for some similar styles by this brand dating from the mid-1950s. (see photos for a couple of examples)
Box has a bit of wear, but is overall good.
They have been worn, but the owner kept them in their original box and took very good care of them.
+++ Measurements +++
They are marked a size 7C and seem to be pretty true to size. They almost fit me at a size 7.5 US but they are just slightly too short for comfort.
9 1/2" inner sole
3 3/8" wide measured across the bottom of the sole at the ball of the foot
1 3/4" heel
+++ Condition +++
Good condition with some minor wear. The suede is in great shape, there are some very faint scuffs, barely visible.
The sole has a bit of wear and there is some cracking in the rubber rim around the sole (where the name "Rim-i-kins" comes from), but it doesn't seem to affect the overall integrity of the shoe.
These are wearable with care.
