Black and grey two-tone side button shoes circa 1910s by Florsheim. Uppers are a soft suede. Lined with canvas. Shell buttons (missing two).
They are made by Florsheim and have "The Florsheim Shoe" label. I love the striped sole on these--very unique.
Comes with a button hook that I found inside on of the shoes!
+++ Measurements +++
Sizing on boots is always approximate, and I urge you to take careful measurements and ask any questions prior to purchasing.
These are marked as a men's size 8 and seem to be true to size or possibly run a bit smaller, but please check the following measurements.
11" inner sole length.
3 3/8" width measured across the bottom of the sole at the ball of the foot, and 9 3/4" circumference at the same spot measured from the outside.
1 1/4" heel.
9" circumference at the top opening.
6" total height.
+++ Condition +++
Missing two buttons, which could be replaced.
Overall good condition with minor wear commensurate with age. The soles have some superficial wear/scuffs. The leather a little dry, but doesn't seem brittle. There are scuffs and surface wear to the leather. The insole heel leather pieces have come loose and could be glued back into place.
These are wearable with care, but do keep in mind they are antiques. I highly suggest finding a good cobbler. It is usually quite affordable to have repairs done.
These boots were made to last a lifetime, and with the proper care and repairs when needed, they will!
