This lovely tiered dress, circa 1910s, is made entirely of lace.
It is two layers, with the first layer being a bobbinet and the top layer being a stretchy lace I believe to be Raschel lace.
Hook and eye and hook and thread closures down the center back.
Loop in center front for threading a belt if desired.
+++ Measurements +++
Likely best for an extra small, it is quite narrow through the hip, though there is a good amount of stretch in the lace.
32" bust
25.5" waist
31.5" hip
60" long
+++ Condition +++
Lovely condition for her age with some minor flaws to note:
- Two patches in the lace in the tiered skirt, one on front and one on back, as shown
- A couple of very small (pinhead size) stains, as shown
- A few tiny scattered holes (pinhead size)
- A couple of mends, as shown
This piece is wearable with care. Hand wash only.
