Beautiful, deadstock, unworn corset by Ferris, circa 1910s. This corset is unique in that it has buttons and shoulder straps, and was marketed for its comfort and support.
Ferris also marketed many corsets to girls and teens in this style, advertising them as being suitable for a growing figure.
See photos for some newspaper clippings from 1917 and 1919 showing similar styles.
This Ferris corset comes in the original box.

+++ Condition +++
Lovely condition, never worn. In original box. Box has some wear and tear, as shown. There are some age spots on the corset, see photos for best condition report.
The elastic in the garters is old and not very stretchy anymore. The laces are new replacements (it did not originally come with laces).
Faint dusty odor from storage.
This piece is definitely wearable with care.
