Beautiful lace up, very witchy black boots circa late 1910s to early 1920s. The shape and heel make me think closer to late 1910s.
They are well broken in, but still have plenty of life left!
+++ Measurements +++
Sizing on boots is always approximate, and I urge you to take careful measurements and ask any questions prior to purchasing.
I believe these are an approximate size 7.5-8 US women's (I wear a 7.5 and they work well for me with a bit of room to spare), but please check the following measurements.
10.5 " inner sole length (keep in mind the pointed toe)
3" width measured across the bottom of the sole at the ball of the foot, and 9.5" circumference at the same spot measured from the outside
2.75" heel
9.5" total height
+++ Condition +++
Very good overall condition with some notable wear from age. Some scuffs and wear to the soles and leather. Leather is very broken in and still flexible and not dried out. A bit of wear to the silk lining around the ankle and canvas lining/insoles.
The laces are new waxed cotton replacements. They also have new replacement heel caps.
These are absolutely wearable with care, but do keep in mind they are antiques. I highly suggest finding a good cobbler. It is usually quite affordable to have repairs done.
These boots were made to last a lifetime, and with the proper care and repairs when needed, they will!
