Very cute black silk bodice circa 1890s with lace and beaded trim.
Fabulous striped cotton lining and robin's egg blue boning channels. Tiny black pocket on the inside.
Hook and eye closures down the center front.
Machine and hand sewn.

Overall good condition with some flaws to note:
- One sleeve is torn at the cuff
- Wear to the other sleeve around the cuff
- Lace trim around the bottom appears to have been torn off
- Some bead trim loss
- Front lace trim on one side has a tear
- Missing two hook closures at the waist
This piece would be wearable with extra care but is best as a study or display piece due to age.
