Super cool dark tinted glasses circa turn of the century, 1890s to 1900s.
Before the days of sunglasses, there were tinted glasses, believed by some to improve vision, but also worn for the sake of fashion by others. Some were worn as eye protection from the elements.
+++ Measurements +++
Approximately 4.75" across the front. They have flexible ear wires to fit a range of sizes.
+++ Condition +++
Great condition with some minor imperfections in the glass around the edges-- it isn't exactly the right shape for the lens so there is a bit of a gap, but the lenses fit snugly and are not at all loose.
The lenses are in good condition and the steel frames are still bright and shiny silver with minor patina. It is rare to find these in this condition!
These are wearable with care at your own risk (the lenses are made of glass, and therefore do not meet modern safety regulations).
