Inlaid with Scottish agate, this sterling silver bracelet dates from the mid-late 19th century and features really fantastic links with a paisley shape motif.
It has my favorite type of clasp--shaped like a padlock--which is beautifully engraved on one side and has a stone inlaid on the other.
These pieces, often known as Victorian Scottish hardstone jewelry or Scottish pebble jewelry, exploded in popularity during the Victorian era as a result of Queen Victoria's love of everything Scottish.
Unmarked but tested as sterling silver.
