Bodice, quilted petticoat, and wax flower crown with provenance from the wedding of Elizabeth Wixon on November 22, 1855. The original skirt has not survived.

Quilted petticoat is exquisite in silk, all hand stitched. It may be older than the wedding date.

Bodice is a lovely shade of bronze silk, lined, with two boning channels in the back of the bodice. Hook and eye closures up the center front.

Wax flower crown would have likely been attached to a lace veil originally. You can see small bits of remaining lace.
