This is one of my favorite pieces and it was in my personal collection for some time before I decided to let it go to a new home. It is an extraordinary Georgian era, early 19th century hand painted miniature set into sterling silver surrounded by fabulous paste stones.

I'm not entirely certain what the miniature represents, but it was recently pointed out to me that it could be a Catholic interpretation of God with a red mantle and dove of the Holy Spirit.

In any case, I love the artwork and style. It is such a unique piece of jewelry and a conversation starter for sure. I have never seen anything quite like it!

Chain shown is a silver tone (not sterling) watch chain (14" long) that pairs nicely with the pendant. I will include it with the pendant. If you do not wish to receive it for whatever reason, simply let me know in the order notes or send me a message!
