Very lovely early 19th century Georgian gold front and back locket.
Front and back test as 9-10k gold, frame and bale are gold filled.
Both sides of the locket open, each with a beveled glass covered compartment for a photo or lock of hair (or other memento).
The center actually comes out of the frame (not very easily, but with a little finagling), which is helpful for placing things behind the glass (these also require a bit of finagling, but I have tested and they do come off so you can add things).
The center of one side has a tiny engraving with the letter AEH.
This listing is for the locket only. Chain is not included.
