Beautiful brown wool ladies' suit consisting of a jacket with fur collar and lovely green embroidery, and a skirt (with pockets!), circa 19-teens, likely between 1915-1918.
The jacket buttons down the center front and has an attached belt that crosses over and buttons on either side of the waist. The fur collar can be worn laid down flat, standing up, or buttoned close at the neck.
The jacket is lined with a lovely patterned silk and is very well made.
The skirt is unlined and has boning in the wide waistband. It fastens with hooks and eyes as well as snaps, which is typical of the style and time period.
A very stylish fall or winter set, which can be worn with care.
