Absolutely fabulous antique red cotton dress (skirt and blouse set) circa 1900s.
Hidden milk glass buttons down the front of the blouse and a large celluloid button on the back of the skirt. Mother of pearl buttons at the cuffs.
Skirt is gathered in the back for a slightly bustled look.
The top has a swiss dot pattern and the skirt has a slightly different, coordinating pattern (looks a bit like a plant with three leaves), with the waistband being the same swiss dot pattern of the blouse to tie the set together.
Very rich red color and overall a beautiful piece.
