Beautiful watch dating from 1918 (I was able to look up the serial number to get the exact date!) in 14k gold by Lady Elgin.
Black grosgrain adjustable band. The back of the watch is engraved with a monogram.
The watch winds and ticks. I am uncertain if it will accurately keep time consistently, but it seems to do so from my initial observation. These watches must be wound daily.
A lovely piece in a harder to find solid 14k gold. Marked inside the case.
+++ Measurements +++
7/8" watch diameter
7/16" watch band width
Adjustable watch band length
+++ Condition +++
Lovely condition overall with some minor age-related wear. Faint scratches, tiny nicks in the crystal, but not noticeable. Small dent in the side of the case, again, not noticeable. The band is in nice condition, but it is over 100 years old so it should be handled with care.
