Beautiful and dainty carved jet earrings circa late 19th century. They have silver ear wire backs.
Intricate carving of a flower in the center of each earring. The flowers appear to be forget me nots, which were a symbol of love and remembrance.
Quite small and understated. Not polished to a full shine, these would have been suitable for wearing during mourning.
Unmarked but tested as silver. The jet has also been tested and is genuine.
