This fabulous, detailed red coral carved cameo charm dates from the late 19th century, circa 1870s-1890s.
Perhaps beginning its life originally as a stick pin or maybe even an earring, it is now a wonderful, petite charm, set into a 9k gold frame.
Unmarked but tested as 9k gold.

Lovely condition overall with some minor age-related wear and patina. The back of the cameo has a carved divot, perhaps from its original mount.
