Lovely gold plated stretch bracelet circa late 1930s to early 1940s. It is super bright and shiny, despite the fact that I did not polish this piece.
It is engraved with what I believe are the letters "MLJ"
The brand is "American Queen," marked on the inside of the band. It has a patent date of 1902.
I have included a newspaper clipping for a very similar bracelet from this brand dating from 1941.

Measures approximately 4.5" inner circumference unstretched but stretches much larger to fit a variety of sizes.
