A fantastic "Touch Wud" good luck charm circa early 20th century, 1910s.

With his arms up touching his head (to "touch wood") and his legs crossed for good luck, this little guy is sure to be a boon to his wearer! And who could resist that adorable face?!

Quite popular as gifts, Touch Wud charms became especially well known during the First World War, when they were given to soldiers by their loved ones.

Marked 925 and silver on the legs. Marked Touch Wud on the back of the wooden sphere.

Listing is for the charm only. Chain is not included with this listing.
