Phenomenal celestial earrings c. 1890s. Someone said these looked like earrings for Artemis, and I couldn't agree more!
Crescent moons and stars, pierced with an arrow through the center, these earrings are a beautiful symbol of feminine wisdom and power. Crescent moons have long been associated with goddesses such as Artemis and Diana. The arrow can have several different meanings (Cupid's arrow is one of the more popular interpretations when shot through a heart), but I like to see it as a symbol of forward movement, progress, and victory.
The earrings feature delicate seed pearls set into rosy gold testing between 10k-14k.
