A truly stunning banded agate ring in 14k gold circa 1890s to early 1900s.
I adore this style of agate ring, and I had to rescue this one when I found it in a very sad state. Read more below for its story :)
Listing is for the ring only. Ring box is not included with this listing.

I'm marking this piece as slightly "as-is" because it's not perfect. It was nearly destroyed--severely bent and the stone glued into the setting VERY crookedly--but I rescued it from being melted down and my jeweler has breathed new life into it.
It still shows a bit of evidence of its brush with death. The stone doesn't sit perfectly straight in the setting, and there is some gold loss on the side of the setting as well. However, it still presents really wonderfully.
The stone has been totally secured by my jeweler and is not loose.
