A beautiful set of solid silver and black enamel bracelets with seed pearl decoration circa 1860s.

While they are not quite identical, they are very similar and are from the same estate, so I assume they were worn together, and I thought it best to keep them as a pair.

Inside one of the bracelets is an engraving "d 26' April 1868"

The bracelets are also marked with letters and numbers, but I haven't been able to identify the hallmarks. Tested a bit below sterling silver, likely 800 or 900 silver.

+++ Measurements +++

The slightly wider of the two is approximately 6.5" inner circumference, while the thinner cuff is approximately 6.75" inner circumference.

+++ Condition +++

Good condition overall for their age, with some minor wear to note:

  • The silver has not been polished and has an aged/darkened patina
  • There is surface wear and a few chips in the black enamel, as shown
  • Only one of the bracelets has a safety chain

They present beautifully.
