A beautiful matching pair of wide tortoise shell cuff bracelets each with a monogram of the letters A, E & D. Circa mid-19th century, 1850s-1860s.
Thin and somewhat flexible, they are slightly adjustable but quite small.

Best for wrist sizes 5 1/2"-6". My wrists are 5 3/4" and they fit me comfortably.
At the wider setting, they are 5" at the narrow end and 7 1/2" at the wider end

Lovely condition overall for their age with some minor wear and small chips, as shown. Mainly on one bracelet. Quite old and thin but wearable with extra care.
