Fabulous 19th century Scottish agate dirk or dagger brooch in sterling silver.
Inlaid with semi-prescious stones of Scottish origin, these pieces, often known as Victorian Scottish hardstone jewelry, exploded in popularity during the Victorian era as a result of Queen Victoria's love of Scotland. This piece features amethyst, bloodstone, and jasper.
Marked silver on the back.
