Beautiful floraform Scottish agate brooch circa mid-19th century featuring lovely colored jasper and bloodstones in earthy shades of green, brown, and red ochre.
During the Victorian era, Scottish agate jewelry became extremely popular due to Queen Victoria's love of all things Scottish.
Unmarked but tests as sterling silver.
