A beautiful pink corset circa late 1890s to early 1900s, made in Paris by Mme Brédian. Obviously was quite an expensive corset with so much attention to detail.
The label inside is very faded but just readable. I was able to find only one mention of Mme Brédian in the newspaper archives, and I have included an image of the clipping in the photos of this listing.
Also a handwritten label sewn into the lining may have indicated the original owner's name, but unfortunately I cannot make it out.
Such a lovely corset, and probably my favorite corset find to date! The sweet little flowers, the flossing, the lace, all make this piece so special.
