Stunning blue wool jacket with exquisite black soutache decoration, circa early 1900s. The collar can be worn standing up, as shown, or laying down flat.
Slight peplum waist, sleeves lightly puffed at the shoulders.
Buttons down the front, side. Buttons are hidden. Could also be worn open.
Lined with black taffeta.

Lovely condition overall for her age, with minor age-related wear, as described below:
- Some small spots of discoloration, barely visible, on the front and also in the inside of the lapels
- A bit of wear to the soutache, some small spots where it has come loose--could be tacked down or left as is, very minor
- The lining appears to have been replaced, but there are some loose/popped threads along the center back seam of the lining, also minor and could be repaired or left as is
- The hidden silk lining around the buttonholes is deteriorating, but this is not structural damage and cannot be seen
Overall this piece is very sturdy and wearable with some care.
