An exceptional grey silk bodice with purple velvet details circa 1890s with gigot sleeves!
The belt is separate and to be worn at the waist (higher than is shown in the photos). Bodice is lined and boned, and the sleeves are fitted on the lower half with dramatic puffs at the shoulders.
This was a finely made piece and unique, in that I have not seen a belt like this one before!
