Adorable jacket circa late 1900s in what I believe is a cotton or cotton/wool gabardine with silk lining around the collar and down the sides. The lining is not throughout the entire jacket.
The fabric is very sturdy and almost feels like denim, but it is soft and very comfortable to wear. May have at one time been black, but it has faded to a kind of charcoal grey.
It has hidden buttons down the center front and gathered, puffed sleeves. A tailored, hourglass fit, flaring out at the bottom.
+++ Measurements +++
Likely best for an extra small so you can fit it over clothing. But it can also be worn unbuttoned!
32" bust
27" waist
20" front length
18" back length
14" shoulders
+++ Condition +++
Lovely condition overall and very sturdy! It is totally wearable. There is one little small wear spot, not quite a hole, on the back of one sleeve. The silk lining around the collar and bottom/front is worn.
Overall a very nice piece and a staple for fall/winter!
