Gorgeous silk and velvet bustle skirt circa 1880s in a stunning shade of ruby red.
Hook and eye closure at the waist and two snaps that were added sometime later.
There is a good sized pocket, also.

Overall good condition considering age, minor wear:

I would not recommend wearing this piece. It is beautiful for display or study.
