Adorable chestnut brown suede boots with the cutest toe shape, circa early 1910s (likely around 1911-1912).
They button up the side and are marked on the inside and the sole as being made by E.P. Reed & Co. They also have an additional maker label inside that doesn't seem to match. I can't quite make out the name unfortunately.
+++ Measurements +++
Sizing on boots is always approximate, and I urge you to take careful measurements and ask any questions prior to purchasing.
I believe these are an approximate size 5 US women's (I wear a 7.5 and they are much too small for me), but please check the following measurements.
9" inner sole length
2 5/8" width measured across the bottom of the sole at the ball of the foot, and 9 3/8" circumference at the same spot measured from the outside
8" ankle circumference and 8.5" circumference at the top opening
2.25" heel
9" total height
+++ Condition +++
Great condition overall with some minor wear and discoloration to the suede, as shown.
These are wearable with care, but do keep in mind they are antiques. I highly suggest finding a good cobbler. It is usually quite affordable to have repairs done.
These boots were made to last a lifetime, and with the proper care and repairs when needed, they will!
