Very unique cream colored lace up up boots circa 1910s by "The Golf Shop" in Chicago, Illinois.
"The Golf Shop" was a kind of sports outfitter, though judging by their advertisements, they seemed to be more of a department store with a wide variety of clothing.
+++ Measurements +++
Sizing on boots is always approximate, and I urge you to take careful measurements and ask any questions prior to purchasing.
I believe these are an approximate size 6 US women's (I wear a 7.5 and I can't really get them on my feet) but please check the following measurements. They are a bit narrow, so although the length of the sole might work for you, keep in mind the width and circumference around the front of the foot.
9 1/2" inner sole length
2 7/8" width measured across the bottom of the sole at the ball of the foot, and 8 3/4" circumference at the same spot measured from the outside
1 1/2" heel
8 3/4" total height
+++ Condition +++
Great overall condition with some cosmetic wear and discoloration, but the leather is good quality and in good shape. Some scuffs, wear, and stains, especially on the toes. Minor wear to the soles. Leather is still flexible and not dried out.
Metal tipped, cotton laces appear to be original.
These are wearable with care, but do keep in mind they are antiques. I highly suggest finding a good cobbler. It is usually quite affordable to have repairs done.
These boots were made to last a lifetime, and with the proper care and repairs when needed, they will!
