Gorgeous black lace up boots circa 1910s with a Cuban heel.
Circa 1910s, all leather with canvas lining, leather soles, and wooden heels, capped with rubber for better traction. Original laces.
+++ Measurements +++
Sizing on boots is always approximate, and I urge you to take careful measurements and ask any questions prior to purchasing.
I believe these are an approximate size 8 US women's (I wear a 7.5 and they work well for me with a bit of room to spare - I like a more spacious boot), but please check the following measurements.
10 1/4" inner sole length
3 1/8" width measured across the bottom of the sole at the ball of the foot, and 10" circumference at the same spot measured from the outside
1 3/4" heel
9 3/4" total height
+++ Condition +++
Good antique condition with some minor wear:
- Some drying/cracking/flaking to the leather inside/around the eyelets
- Minor surface wear/scuffs to the leather
New rubber heel caps have been added. Original laces still present.
These are wearable with care, but do keep in mind they are antiques. I highly suggest finding a good cobbler. It is usually quite affordable to have repairs done.
These boots were made to last a lifetime, and with the proper care and repairs when needed, they will!
