Gorgeous tan lace up boots circa late 1910s to early 1920s with long pointed toes and Louis heels.
Boots were made by Witchert New York and sold by Blumberg Bros. & Co. in Seguin, Texas.
+++ Measurements +++
Sizing on boots is always approximate, and I urge you to take careful measurements and ask any questions prior to purchasing.
I believe these are an approximate size 7.5-8 US women's. I wear a 7.5 and they fit with plenty of room in the toe box/length but could be snug on someone with a wider foot. I think they'd be great for a 7.5 normal width and an 8 narrow, but please check the following measurements.
10 3/4" inner sole length, but keep in mind the very pointed toe.
2 3/8" width measured across the bottom of the sole at the ball of the foot, and 9 1/4" circumference at the same spot measured from the outside
2 5/8" heel
11" total height
+++ Condition +++
Good condition overall with some minor wear.
Leather is not dried out. Some scuffs, surface crazing and surface breaks in the leather near the top, wear to the toes. Heels have some chips.
Laces have some wear and the tips have been repaired. I will also include a new pair of replacements (which I make myself).
Soles are slightly worn. May benefit from having rubber heel caps added, which is usually very affordable. Canvas lining and insoles have some wear and staining. Tongues have some wear and tear.
These are wearable with care, but do keep in mind they are antiques. I highly suggest finding a good cobbler. It is usually quite affordable to have repairs done.
These boots were made to last a lifetime, and with the proper care and repairs when needed, they will!
