Stunning grey suede boots circa late 1910s to early 1920s with Louis heels.
This hard to find color is a sweet dove grey, and the suede is incredibly soft.
Made by Queen Quality Shoes in Boston Massachusetts, which was owned by Thomas Gustave Plant
A very special pair of boots.
+++ Measurements +++
Sizing on boots is always approximate, and I urge you to take careful measurements and ask any questions prior to purchasing.
I believe these are an approximate size 5 US women's, but please check the following measurements.
8.75" inner sole length, but keep in mind the very pointed toe.
2.75" width measured across the bottom of the sole at the ball of the foot, and 8.5" circumference at the same spot measured from the outside
2.75" heel
11.5" total height
+++ Condition +++
Wonderful condition overall with some minor wear.
Scuffs/wear to the suede mainly around the the heels. Leather is super soft and supple.
New leather has been added to the front of one heel. Insoles have degraded and have long since disappeared. If you plan to wear these, it would be best to replace them (either store bought cut to fit or done at a cobbler).
Some flaking to the leather around the inside around the ankle.
These are wearable with care, but do keep in mind they are antiques. I highly suggest finding a good cobbler. It is usually quite affordable to have repairs done.
These boots were made to last a lifetime, and with the proper care and repairs when needed, they will!
