Wonderful 1910s side button boots.
"Grover's Soft Shoes For Tender Feet"
I have included some images of the original ads for this brand from 1913 and 1915.
+++ Measurements +++
Sizing on boots is always approximate, and I urge you to take careful measurements and ask any questions prior to purchasing.
These are marked as a size 37 (European) and seem to be true to size, an approximate size 6.5 US women's, but please check the following measurements.
10" inner sole length.
3" width measured across the bottom of the sole at the ball of the foot, and 9" circumference at the same spot measured from the outside.
8.5" circumference at the ankle and 9" circumference at the top opening.
+++ Condition +++
Very good condition overall with minor wear commensurate with age. The soles do have some superficial wear but they have tons of life left. The leather is flexible and not dried out. Some minor staining to the canvas lining. A few scuffs to the leather.
These are wearable with care, but do keep in mind they are antiques. I highly suggest finding a good cobbler. It is usually quite affordable to have repairs done.
These boots were made to last a lifetime, and with the proper care and repairs when needed, they will!
