Awesome black lace up boots circa 1910s-1920s. A nice mid-calf boot with a slightly taller than average block heel.
These are comfortable and flattering with both skirts and trousers.
+++ Measurements +++
Sizing on boots is always approximate, and I urge you to take careful measurements and ask any questions prior to purchasing.
I believe these are an approximate size 7.5-8 US women's (I wear a 7.5 and they work well for me with a bit of room to spare - I like a more spacious boot), but please check the following measurements.
10 3/4" inner sole length
3 1/8" width measured across the bottom of the sole at the ball of the foot, and 9 1/2" circumference at the same spot measured from the outside
1 3/4" heel
10 3/4" total height
+++ Condition +++
Good antique condition with some minor wear commensurate with age. There are some scuffs and a couple of small holes in the leather around the back of the heel. These could be left as is for now, and don't seem to be much at risk of tearing further. You may want to have them patched in the future.
The heels also show some wear/cracks and could be replaced in the future. This is very easily and cheaply done at a shoe repair shop.
These are wearable with care, but do keep in mind they are antiques. I highly suggest finding a good cobbler. It is usually quite affordable to have repairs done.
These boots were made to last a lifetime, and with the proper care and repairs when needed, they will!
