Before the days of sunglasses, there were tinted glasses, believed by some to improve vision, but also worn for the sake of fashion by others.

These wonderful tinted eyeglasses date from around the turn of the century to early 1900s. They have wire frames that are flexible to fit a range of sizes. I do not often find these with round lenses!

The lenses are tinted but are not magnifying or prescription, just glass.

+++ Measurements +++

Approx 4.75" across from hinge to hinge.

+++ Condition +++

Great condition for their age and very wearable. The lenses are in very good condition with minor wear and the metal frames have some patina. There is a small imperfection in one lens that looks like a bubble in the glass. This does not affect wear.

These are wearable with care at your own risk (the lenses are made of glass, and therefore do not meet modern safety regulations).
